The Swim Squad was established here in Gainesville, FL during the Summer of 2007. While going to school at the University of Florida, owners Jordan Meher and wife Meredith worked in the Gainesville community helping to teach children to swim. Because they did not have a pool to teach swimming lessons in, they began driving out to parents houses to teach the swimming lessons. With an overwhelming demand for swimming lessons that come to you, they decided to start a business here in Gainesville. They strive to offer the highest quality swimming lessons at your own home or community pool. With the addition of our online registration in the Summer of 2008, we have re-invented the convenience of swimming lessons! Teaching your child to swim should be a joyous and rewarding experience. We will never dictate when your lessons need to take place. Simply view our instructors availability online and choose whatever dates and times work best for you and your child to have your swimming lessons!

Every employee of The Swim Squad believes in stressing swimming safety, and teaching your child how to be safe in your own backyard or community pool (where you will be spending the majority of your time during the Summer months!!)
